TEACHING
My goal as an educator is to develop scientifically literate citizens that are prepared to apply critical thinking to diverse ideas and perspectives. Whether I’m in the classroom, lab, or out in the field with practitioners and the public, I strive to connect the often abstract concepts of ecology with everyday observations and experiences, finding scientific solutions to current issues.
