Ecologically-informed design is critical for mitigating the impacts of rapid urbanization and global change. Prior to my PhD studies I worked at KieranTimberlake, an international architecture firm based in Philadelphia. As a member of the Research Group at KT I conducted independent and project-team based research that investigated building and landscape performance. My current research draws from my experience at KT and I continue to develop collaborative projects that explore opportunities to embed research into design practice and education.
